Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch are back and better than ever!
The Big Bang Theory alums will reunite on screen for season 3 of Night Court for the first time since the CBS sitcom aired its series finale in 2019. An airdate has yet to be announced.
Bialik, 48, will play a heightened version of herself and will appear on the legal sitcom as a defendant, per Entertainment Weekly. She eventually befriends Judge Abby Stone (Rauch), a Blossom super fan, and is excited to learn more about Bialik until she quickly learns that the actress is stalking her.

From its September 2007 debut to its emotional two-part series finale in May 2019, The Big Bang Theory delighted viewers with quirky humor and idiosyncratic characters. Bialik took on the role of Amy, an accomplished neuroscientist who eventually get married to Jim Parsons‘ Sheldon, and Rauch played mircobiologist Bernadette.
While speaking to the outlet about their long-awaited reunion, Bialik joked that she feels like “I should be dressed like Amy and she should be dressed like Bernadette.”
“There’s definitely a lot of surreal moments and just a huge nostalgia factor,” she continued. “Melissa and I were next to each other for nine years of our lives and shared a huge section of our time together, as did the entire cast. She and I were brought on together in season 4 on Big Bang, so we really trudged a very similar path in terms of our timing.”

While she kept quiet on any further details, the former Jeopardy! cohost also told EW that fans can expect “meta references” to the science comedy.
Bialik’s appearance on Night Court won’t be the first time a Big Bang cast member has made an appearance on the show.
In an episode titled “A Crime of Fashion” that aired in February, Rauch and Kunal Nayyar also had a sweet reunion when the actor took on the role of an A-list fashion designer and Rauch’s love interest.
