As we are constantly exposed to numerous canine stories on social media, some of them tend to be rather sad, especially those revolving around homeless dogs. Fortunately, most of these stories do have a happy ending with the poor pups getting adopted after all their struggles.
Today, we would like to share with you the story of Coco, a charming little dog who sadly fell into the hands of cruel people.
Coco, a dog who was neglected and abandoned on a river bank, was speculated to have been terribly mistreated by the community or by his so-called “owners” who had simply left him to starve.
Coco was terribly malnourished to the point where one could see his bones poking through the skin. Coco’s body was extremely thin, it seemed that he had not eaten in a long time as he struggled to survive. The dog was covered with fleas and other parasites in addition to being extremely physically weak.
Fortunately, Coco was found by kind strangers and was then taken to the DELKA Vet Medical Facility in Nuevo León, Mexico where he made a full recovery.
As Coco made a slow recovery, he was surrounded by kind people who did their best to help him adapt and feel less scared around strangers.
Soon enough, the dog was adopted by one of the people who helped him with his recovery journey. Now, Coco has a large family. Though Coco is pretty much healthy, he still needs to take certain shots to assist with the fungal infection he has. Despite all of that, he seems very happy in his new home.
In the end, Coco even joined an athletic dogs group to always remain in shape as he enjoys making new and happy memories with his family.
