Earlier this year, Kieran Culkin scored an Emmy win for Best Actor in a Drama Series for his stint as Roman Roy in HBO’s Succession. But before Culkin made it big in the realm of television, his brother, Macaulay Culkin, who rose to stardom at the age of 11, was once offered to star in one of the biggest sitcoms of the 21st century.
However, unlike fans of The Big Bang Theory, the Home Alone star wasn’t too fond of the Jim Parsons-led show and dropped the opportunity to bank on its popularity.

Despite being one of the beloved sitcoms of the past two decades, The Big Bang Theory isn’t everyone’s cup of tea, with one major example being Charlie Sheen. Despite making a guest appearance in season 2’s episode 4, The Griffin Equivalency, the actor went on record to blast TBBT, deeming it “a stupid show… about lame people”.
