A video making rounds on social media captures a tragic moment in the life of a small dog. The dog was moved to tears when he was fed, having been starved for several days.
No one knows why this dog is alone, with no place to go and no one to care for him. The tiny dog was lost and clueless about where to go; he wandered the streets alone and eventually became exhausted, growing increasingly hungry and tired due to a lack of food and water.
Luckily, the tiny dog encountered a passerby. This man gave the puppy a piece of bread to eat as the pet was shaking and exhausted from fasting for several days. When offered food, the puppy didn’t immediately eat it, instead taking a bite of the bread and crying.
Seeing the dog’s plight, this individual decided to take him home and look after him. After bringing him home, the dog’s owner took him to the hospital for a check-up and some tests. The dog’s body was covered in sores and parasites, and he was exhausted from hunger. Fortunately, the test results were not too severe, and the dog would recover quickly with a little extra care.
Gunnar, the dog’s owner, gives him a very endearing name. Gunnar is fed as prescribed by the doctor and given the nutrition he needs to recover from his condition. After a long and tough life, Gunnar finally has a new family who spoils and cares for him.
Gunnar, who used to look like a sick, trembling dog, can now run, play, and fetch the ball with his owner. The fortunate encounter allowed the tiny dog’s life to take a different turn, allowing him to be cared for, receive more love from his owner, and no longer be afraid of crowds.
Looking back at the earlier photo, many people would not be surprised to see the puppy’s stunning “makeover.” Gunnar used to be underweight, but he now has healthy, silky fur. If I hadn’t mentioned anything, no one would have recognized that this was a hungry dog with multiple past wounds all over his body.
Gunnar’s ability to express his emotions while being helped by others was remarkable. Although the dog’s appearance is not as attractive as that of many other dogs, the dog’s humble action persuaded the owner to bring him home and care for him.
