UNDERSTANDING RHODESIAN RIDGEBACKS
see more: After enduring three weeks under the sun, the handicapped canine whimpered as it was given food. Subsequently, an unexpected marvel occurred.
In a small village in Zavorovo, Russia, a disabled dog was found lying under the scorching sun, near a fence for shade. Neighbors reported that the dog had been in that condition for three weeks.
The dog’s owner would occasionally feed him and then leave. The dog was starving and infested with ticks.
A volunteer from Asian Co. New Life, alerted by a neighbor, came to assist the distressed dog. When the volunteer fed and gave the dog water, the dog cried out and quickly consumed all the food.
The owner failed to acknowledge the dog’s loyalty and love. If the dog had stayed there for a few more days, who knows what could have happened?
The dog, named Arhat, couldn’t stand up due to exhaustion and needed rest. Life is never easy, but it always includes beautiful moments and there’s always light at the end of the tunnel.
The next day, they planned to go to Moscow. Arhat was apprehensive and looked around. He had an appointment with a surgeon. Blood tests and x-rays were conducted, revealing irregular growth in the vertebrae.
Arhat was taken outside for some fresh air in the afternoon. He lay there quietly for hours, seemingly contemplating his life.
Old dogs have a hard time forgetting their owners. They love and are unconditionally loyal to us, no matter who we are or where we come from. Yet, there are people who don’t appreciate this, and dogs like Arhat suffer a lot.
The surgeon indicated that he couldn’t operate due to a congenital issue. The breeder had wanted a large dog when he grew up, which led to certain developmental errors.
The doctor suggested that Arhat needed training to walk, but he didn’t seem to want to train. Although his health had improved significantly at that time, the doctor didn’t understand why he didn’t want to.

After 10 months, Arhat was able to walk again. It’s been 10 months full of happiness and tears. The recovery time was long, but the benefits were worth it. He achieved the impossible and performed miracles.
Do you remember the dog at the beginning of the video? He is radically different today, healthier and more handsome, and most importantly, he has people by his side who love him and are helping him start a new happy life he dreamed of.
